This nostalgic clock represents the days before compact discs and Internet streaming media. Back then everybody had a phonograph or belt drive turntable. After school we gathered and listened to music from our favourite music collection. Records had to be handled carefully and returned to their covers to prevent scratches on the delicate vinyl surface. Heaven help if you bumped the turntable and damaged the pickup needle and the record. Vinyl records make us think of the 1980's and David Gresham best known as a producer and radio & television personality. He is known for his career on SABC's Springbok Radio show, South Africa's Top 20 and on SABC TV's, Pop Shop. David is famous for his saying "Keep your feet on the ground and reach for the stars"
